RANSOM CANYON EMS/FIRST RESPONDER

Ransom Canyon EMS/First Responder is a registered first responder through the  Texas Department Of Health Bureau Of Emergency Management  (TDH Registered Firm # 152013).  

We are a NON-Transport service.  Our transport is through Slaton EMS.  We do however provide our community with BLS/ALS support for minor to major trauma and minor to major medical emergencies.  

Our goal is to stabilize our patients until transport arrives. (generally within 10 -15 minutes of the actual 911 call). Our truck contains numerous BLS and ALS meds, one AED defibrillator, 1 SAED defibrillator.  Numerous extrication devices for C-SPINE control and confined space rescue such as man hole recovery and rappelling equipment with the help of the fire department personnel.  

All personnel carry pagers and radios in the event of a call and out of their own free will and personal time stand-by 24/7 for any emergency.

Ransom Canyon EMS consists of 7 EMS personel.
